Update

Temporary disruption of clinical services.

Unfortunately, whilst playing football, Dr Samy sustained an injury to his shoulder and has needed surgery. He currently does not have use of his right arm. However, in his typical patient-centred style, he refuses to go off sick and will continue to see patients by deploying his usual approach of thinking outside the box. This never-defeated attitude served him very well during the COVID-19 pandemic when he continued to manage patients appropriately rather than cancel them.

Dr Samy will continue to see and meet patients, examine them, and take X-rays or other tests as required. Any treatments that require prescriptions only can proceed as normal however patients requiring an operative intervention will need a bespoke alteration to their plan which may or may not involve a dental colleague helping if this is in the patient’s best interests.
